Randle Farms – a family owned and operated farm just outside of Auburn. Seasonal produce is available, including blueberries during the Summer months. They raise lamb, beef, rabbits, chickens and turkeys for sale through their CSA or at their farm store, open Wednesdays 3-6pm.
Ledbetter Acres – located in Lafayette, AL. Free range chickens and produce.
Ag Heritage Farmers Market – mid May through August every Thursday from 3-6pm at the corner of Lem Morrison and Donahue. Offerings include fresh baked bread, locally grown produce, jams and jellies, honey, cheeses and meats.
The Market at Blooming Colors has a varying selection of produce, some local. Crepe Myrtle Cafe located inside the Market sells fresh baked goods and has a lunch menu with local foods including crepes, paninis, salads and soups.
Earth Fare – Auburn a great grocery store that offers a selection of food that is hormone free, no high fructose corn syrup and no gmo’s. Some of the prices are a little high, some of them are very comparable to traditional grocery stores. Love their deli meats and cheeses, produce selection is very good.
Gullatte Acres – a small farm outside of Opelika that offers farm raised chickens, seasonal produce, pecans, beef (for the first time this year!) and eggs. You can contact him by email email@example.com
